THIS POSITION REQUIRES THAT YOU OPERATE HOSE CRIMPING MACHINERY AND TEST HOSES AT HIGH PSI RATINGS. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

We are seeking an individual who has worked with replicating and assembling hydraulic hose assemblies or a similar field, to operate daily custom hose assembly at our store and office location in Vancouver, Washington. 

​

The selected candidate will:

​

• Operate a standard fork-lift in closed quarters to get to different types of hose we work with in our hose shop.

• Be able to correctly identify various fittings, hose types and hose bends in order to replicate hoses 

• Have experience operating a manual miter saw.

• Be able to observe standard safety procedures when it comes to operation of dangerous equipment. 

• Be able to operate large hydraulic and pneumatic hose crimpers.

• Perform hose assembly

• Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of equipment

• Accounts for and properly disposes of scrap

• Communicates work flow problems and equipment needs to Team Lead and/or Supervisor

• Other duties as may be assigned

Job Type: Full-time & Part-Time Positions Available.

Pay: $15-18 depending on experience

Requirements:

Experience:

​

• High school degree or GED Preferred. 

• Demonstrated knowledge of Hose Product assembly

• Standard Work and equipment operation and set-u capabilities

• Good math and measuring skills, including the ability to convert fractions and decimals

• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Superior customer service and positive attitude towards customers

License/Certification:

• No certification or license other than a valid drivers license is required for this position.. it may be necessary for employees to run hoses to customers at job site locations in company vehicle.
